IN FEEL WEAR PRIVATE LIMITED

In Feel Wear is tucked away in the Akra Krishna Nagar area of Kayalpara, over in Maheshtala. We operate out of Sahannawaj Ali Sardar’s place. This part of South 700140 is a busy, lived-in neighborhood, and we are right in the thick of it. We focus on making clothes that people can actually feel comfortable in, which is where the name came from, I guess. It’s not a sterile factory environment. It’s more like a workshop where there’s always the sound of sewing machines humming in the background. The streets outside can be quite narrow and crowded, so getting supplies delivered is always an adventure. We have a small group of local tailors and workers who have been with us for a while. We don't spend money on fancy ads or big billboards. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen our stuff around. It’s a lot of long hours, especially during the festive seasons when everyone wants new clothes at the same time. The humidity in this part of West Bengal can make the work tough, but we have some fans going and we just keep at it. It’s a honest way to make a living, and we take some pride in seeing someone walking down the street wearing something that was made right here in our little unit in Kayalpara. It's just simple clothes for real people.
