Started here in Krishnapurchak. Nadia is home to us. We handle textiles mostly. It is not a massive operation by any means. Just a few rooms and some machines. People from the local village come in to work every morning. Some have been here since we first opened the doors. We mostly focus on getting the fabric right for our clients. The roads around Dakshinrapakalinarayanpur can be a bit tricky during the monsoon months. It slows down our deliveries sometimes but we always manage to get through. We aren't trying to change the whole world or anything like that. We just make what is ordered and try to keep things moving. It gets a bit dusty in the workshop sometimes. The electricity is okay most days, though we have our moments. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It keeps everyone’s energy up during the long afternoons. When a big shipment finally goes out the door, everyone here feels a little bit of relief. Then we just turn around and start on the next one. It is repetitive work but it is honest. We spend a lot of time checking the threads. If something looks off, we try to fix it right then. There is no use waiting. Our office part is quite small. Just a desk and some old files. We don't have fancy brochures. Most people know us by word of mouth in this area. We have been at this for a long time now.
