Iffco Kisan Sanchar Ltd

Our office for Iffco Kisan Sanchar Ltd is situated at 391/461 Krishnanagar Road in Barasat. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but we are right there in Noapara, Dist - 24 Pgs (N). The road outside is always busy with buses and rickshaws, so it gets quite loud during the day. Inside, it’s a standard office setup. We have desks, computers, and a lot of paperwork related to our communication services. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and people from the rural areas around Barasat. It’s not a glamorous job. We sit under the tube lights and work through the lists of subscribers and service issues. The walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars and some notices pinned up. We have a small corner for making tea, which is where we spend our short breaks. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a typical workspace in this part of Kol. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We just provide the connection and information services that folks in the area need. The commute can be long for some of us, but we’re used to the rhythm of Krishnanagar Road. It’s a functional place where the main goal is just to keep the lines open and the work moving. No big corporate talk here.
