If you’re looking for us, we are located at 16, India Exchange Place. It’s an old building in the Calcutta GPO area, and we are up on the 3rd floor in Room Number 10. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, but we’re used to it by now. Balakrishna has been running out of this office for a good number of years. It’s not a large space, just enough for a few desks and all the files we’ve accumulated over time. The neighborhood is always crowded with people rushing around, which is typical for this part of Calcutta. We don't have a big staff or any polished corporate routines. It’s a small operation where we handle everything ourselves. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and talking to people who drop by. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If someone comes in, they just sit down and we talk. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We like being near the GPO because it makes handling the mail much easier. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to the sounds of the city. We don’t do much advertising. Most of our work comes from long-time contacts and people who know where to find us. We just keep things simple and try to stay on top of our daily tasks.
