Our office is at Flat 1C in Geet Merlin Estates. It is on Diamond Harbour Road, specifically at 25 8 in Kolkata 700008. If you have ever been on Diamond Harbour Road, you know the traffic can be a real headache, especially when it rains. The building is okay, and being in a flat makes it feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We do the Icici Lombard General Insurance work from here. I usually get in early to beat the worst of the heat and start going through the claims and renewals that came in. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through. We have a small table where we keep the files. Sometimes neighbors from the estate pop in just to say hello or ask a quick question about their car insurance. It is not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure things run right. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just help people get their insurance sorted out so they don't have to worry about it. Kolkata has its own rhythm and we just fit into it. The tea stalls nearby are where we usually end up during the afternoon break. It's a decent place to work and we stay pretty busy most weeks. People know they can find us here in the Merlin Estates block easily enough.
