Our place is located in South Kamrangu, specifically in Jhorhat, Andul, which is over in the Howrah area. Ashok Samanta is the person here who keeps things running for Ici India Ltd. It’s a quiet spot compared to the center of the city, which we actually prefer. Working out of Howrah has its own rhythm. We don’t have a massive office building or a shiny glass front. It’s a humble setup where we manage the local requirements for the company. Most of the work involves staying in touch with people and making sure the logistics side of things doesn't fall apart. We know the roads around here well, even when they get muddy during the rainy season. It’s a local operation, so we treat everyone like a neighbor. We aren't into big speeches or fancy presentations. We just handle the paperwork and the phone calls as they come in. If someone needs to find us, they usually have to ask around a bit in Jhorhat, but we’re here. We’ve been in this location for a while, and it suits the way we work. It’s just a regular day for us, checking off the list of things to do and making sure everything is in order. We don't pretend to be more than we are. It’s just a small branch of a bigger name, doing our part in our own corner of Bengal. It keeps us busy.
