Ichiban Facility Management

Ichiban Facility Management is located at 66 SP Mukherjee Road in Kolkata. It’s an old part of the city, and the building we are in has that classic Kolkata feel to it—high ceilings and thick walls that have seen a lot of history. Being on SP Mukherjee Road means we are right in the middle of everything, with trams and yellow taxis constantly rushing past the front door. Our office is a busy hub where we coordinate all our cleaning and maintenance crews. It’s usually a bit of a mess with schedules pinned to the walls and people coming in and out to pick up supplies or hand in reports. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or polished brochures. We just focus on making sure our workers get to their sites on time and that the jobs get finished properly. The air in the office usually smells a bit like floor cleaner and old paper. It’s a practical environment for a practical business. Most of the staff have been with us for years, so we’re more like a family than a corporate team. We deal with all sorts of buildings across the city, but this office is where it all starts. It’s a noisy, fast-paced place, but we like it that way. Kolkata can be a tough city to manage sometimes, with the rain and the crowds, but we just take it one day at a time from our base on 66 SP Mukherjee Road.
