Our place is in the Karunamoyee Housing Estate, specifically D17 8 in Salt Lake City. It’s a massive complex, so it took us a bit to get settled when we first moved into Kolkata 70001. The office for Ibm is really just a flat that we converted. It’s got that lived-in feel, which I think makes it easier to work in. You can hear the neighbors sometimes, or the kids playing outside in the afternoons. It’s not a shiny glass building. We have some plants on the balcony that we forget to water occasionally. Inside, it's pretty basic. There’s a big table where we usually eat lunch together. We do our work on laptops mostly. The internet can be temperamental when the weather is bad. Salt Lake is a bit more organized than the rest of the city, but we still have our local issues. We don’t have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. If you knock, someone will just get up and open the door. It’s informal. We’ve been here for a good bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the layout. The light in the morning is nice, though. It hits the desks just right. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It's just a functional space for us to stay busy and get through the week. It works for us and the work we do.
