We are located at 26A 1B Jheel Road here in Kolkata. It is a bit of a crowded area but we like it well enough. The building isn't anything special to look at. We have our desks set up and we spend most of our day sitting there working on things. The fans hum all day and it gets a bit stuffy when the power goes out but that is just part of living in this city. Our team is small and we know each other's habits. Someone is always bringing in snacks or complaining about the commute. Jheel Road can be a nightmare during the rains when the water pools up near the gate. We just wear our sandals and get on with it. It is not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls and carpets. It is more of a practical space where we get our daily tasks done. Most people who come by are just locals or people looking for the address. We have a few computers that are getting old but they still work fine for what we need. 700031 is a busy pin code. There is always noise from the street outside but we have gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest thing around. We just want to finish our work and go home to our families. It is a decent place to spend eight hours a day.
