We are located at Plot 98 in Sahapur Colony, which is right in the heart of New Alipore, Kolkata. If you are looking for us, we are in Block J, number 32. The street outside is usually busy with people heading to the local markets or kids going to school. We have been working out of this space for quite some time now and it has its own character. The morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and letting some air into the front room. It can get pretty humid here in Kolkata, so the ceiling fans are always humming in the background. Our setup is simple, just some basic furniture and the usual equipment we need to get through the day. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks at everyone passing by the gate, which can be a bit distracting when we are trying to focus. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the address on the pillar. Lunch is usually something brought from home or a quick bite from the corner shop down the road. The afternoons can be slow, especially when the sun is hitting the front of the building. We just keep at it, handling whatever comes our way. It is a quiet enough spot once you get inside, away from the main road noise. We like it here because it feels like a real part of the neighborhood, not some sterile corporate office.
