Our branch for Ibm India Pvt Ltd is at 55 7 Purna Das Road. We’re on the ground floor, which makes things easy for coming and going. This is in the 700029 area of Kolkata. It’s just a practical space where we have our computers and files. Since we are on the ground floor, we hear the sounds of the street quite clearly. It feels like we are part of the city rather than tucked away in some high-rise. We don’t have a reception desk or a polished waiting area. It’s just a working office. Most of us live nearby and walk or take an auto to get here. The tea around here is great, and there are plenty of little places to grab a snack. We don’t spend much time on big speeches or marketing. We just focus on getting the work done every day. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We’ve been at this Purna Das Road location for a good while and we’ve become part of the local scene here. It’s just a regular workplace where we deal with our daily tasks and then head home when we're finished.
