Hsbc

Over at 10 2A Alipore Park Place, you can find the Hsbc office. Kolkata is a city with a lot of history, and Alipore is one of those areas that feels like it has seen a lot of years go by. Our building is tucked in there amongst the trees and the older houses. It is a quiet street compared to some of the main roads in Kol 27. The office itself is pretty basic. We have the usual stuff you would expect to see in a workplace. There are desks that have been here a while and some cabinets filled with folders. We do not go in for anything too modern or flashy. It is about getting the work finished. We spend our mornings checking the numbers and the afternoons talking to whoever comes through the door. The atmosphere is calm, which is nice when the city outside gets loud. We are not trying to be the biggest or the loudest place in town. We just handle the accounts and make sure everything is in the right place. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the commute a bit of a mess, but we are always here. It is just a small group of us doing a job. We do not have fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have the work that needs to be done before the sun goes down.
