Our office is located over in Salt Lake City, specifically in Sector 1. If you know Kolkata, you know this part of town is pretty organized but still has its own kind of chaos. Hr-One Managment Consultancy isn't some massive corporate entity with thousands of people; it’s just us trying to help businesses manage their staff and hiring needs. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time looking at how offices run and trying to make things a bit smoother for the owners. The commute to Salt Lake can be a bit much some days, but once we’re at the desk, it’s all about the tasks at hand. We don't really have a fancy philosophy. We just look at what’s needed and try to get it sorted. Sometimes that means a lot of interviews, other times it’s just paperwork and payroll stuff. We’ve been doing this for a while now, so we know the local landscape pretty well. The office is a regular space where we drink tea and get through the day’s emails. We’re not here to change the world, just to make sure the HR side of things doesn’t become a headache for the people we work with. It’s a steady job and we take it as it comes, one day at a time, right here in the heart of Sector 1. It is a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic outside, but we manage.
