Headline Overseas

Headline Overseas sits on the second floor of 50/2 Lenin Sarani. It’s an older building, the kind you find in this part of the city, with a lot of character and maybe a few cracks here and there. To get to us, you have to walk up the stairs since there isn't a lift, but it keeps us moving. Lenin Sarani is a busy place, always something happening outside the windows. We spend our days tucked away on that second floor, mostly just focusing on the work at hand. The office has big windows that let in some light, though they also let in the sounds of the street. It’s a practical space. We’ve got desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look like a magazine. It is more about getting through the list of things to do before the sun goes down. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how the drawer sticks and which light switch is a bit finicky. It’s just how it is. Being at 50/2 Lenin Sarani works for us because it’s central and we know the area like the back of our hands. We just keep things moving along quietly. Sometimes we stay late when there is extra work, but usually, we are out by six.
