We are based at 29/A Weston Street here in Kolkata. If you know the 700012 area, you know it’s a bit of an older part of town with narrow streets and lots of history. HARI MUKUND PROJECTS PRIVATE LIMITED has its office in one of those buildings. It’s got high ceilings and fans that squeak a little bit when they’re turned on high. We aren't interested in being a flashy company with a glass building. We like the character of this neighborhood. Most of our work involves projects that take us all over the metro area. Some days we are looking at old structures that need help, and other days we are planning something completely new. We have a small staff and we all know each other pretty well. There’s no fancy dress code here. We wear what’s practical for a dusty construction site. The paperwork always seems to pile up on the desks, but we get through it eventually. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just take the jobs that make sense and try to do them without making a mess of things. It can be stressful when deadlines are close, but that is the nature of the business. If you’re walking past Weston Street, you might see us out front grabbing a quick snack or a tea. We’re just regular people doing our jobs.
