We work in the real estate and construction sector. Most of what we do involves a lot of planning and dealing with the various permissions needed for building. It’s not the most exciting work to talk about, but it’s what we know how to do. The office is a regular room with a few desks and a small area for meetings. We don't have a receptionist greeting people at the door. Usually, it's just one of us looking up from a computer. We’ve been in this building for some time and it feels like home now. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to impress people. We just want to finish our projects on time and make sure everything is handled correctly. Some days the lift takes forever, and other days the office is a bit of a mess with all the paperwork, but that's just how it goes.
