Gyankarta Developers Private Limited is located at 4 Govt Place. We are on the 9th floor too. It is right near Raj Bhawan so the security around here is always tight. You see the police and the big gates every morning when you walk in. Our office is a bit crowded with files and old folders. We work alongside the Olisa Reality folks. It is a functional space for people who actually do the work. We aren't interested in looking polished. We are interested in getting the buildings up. Developing property in Kolkata is a challenge because the streets are narrow and the rules are plenty. We just navigate it as best as we can. Some days are better than others. When the monsoon hits everything slows down but we keep coming into the office. We have a small crew and we have known each other for a long time. It feels more like a family than a corporation. We don't have a fancy lobby. If you come to see us you will just find us at our desks probably arguing about a deadline or a delivery. That is just how the development business goes. We keep our heads down and try to finish what we started. It’s a good location for us being in the heart of the city like this. We are just regular people making a living in the property market.
