Growfield Promoters Private Limited

We are based in a flat on the third floor of a building at 86/B/2 Topsia Road South. It’s Flat 3D. Topsia is a busy, industrial kind of area in Kolkata. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long from our window. Growfield Promoters Private Limited is a small outfit. We don't have a big staff. It’s mostly just us handling the promotion and development of small properties. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at sites in the neighborhood. Our office is quite plain. There are some chairs for visitors and a lot of maps on the walls. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather put that into the projects. Developing land in Kolkata is tricky because of the space and the rules, but we’ve learned how to manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to do our work and go home. We have a few regular contractors we work with, and we trust them to do a good job. Sometimes we have long meetings over tea about how to fix a plumbing issue or where to get better tiles. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s real. We are just people from the 700046 area working in the same place we live. It’s a practical business for practical people.
