Green-Earth Enterprise

You can find us at 24, Dr. Kartick Bose St., in a small building that’s easy to miss if you’re driving too fast. We focus on various environmental products, though it’s mostly just a lot of logistics and packing from our end. The office is basically one big room with a couple of side areas for storage. We keep things pretty simple. There are stacks of recycled paper products and biodegradable bags everywhere. It’s not the neatest place, but we manage to get things out the door on time. I spend a lot of my day on the computer or talking to suppliers about what’s coming in next week. The windows are old and sometimes they rattle when the wind is strong. We have a small kitchenette where we make tea, and that’s usually where everyone gathers to talk for a few minutes in the afternoon. It’s a quiet street for the most part, which is nice. We don't have any big marketing teams or anything like that. It’s just us trying to run a small enterprise and making sure the inventory matches what’s on the invoices. Sometimes the delivery van breaks down, and we have to scramble to find another way to get the goods moved. It’s just the usual headaches of running a small business. We like the neighborhood and the people here. It’s a decent place to spend the day working.
