Government Service Of West Bengal

Our office for the Government Service of West Bengal is tucked away in Nu ManS Park, within the village of Chakrajumolla. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here to Pailan Hat, but that’s where the work needs to be done. This isn’t a high-rise office in the middle of Kolkata. It’s a local spot where we handle the needs of the villagers and the surrounding areas. The building is simple, surrounded by a bit of green and the typical sights of a Bengal village. Inside, you’ll find us working on various social and administrative services. We don't have a marketing budget or any fancy branding to show off. The locals just know where we are when they need help with their paperwork or government schemes. The pace can be a bit slow sometimes, especially when the internet is acting up, but we keep at it. There’s always someone coming in with a question or a form to be filled out. We use old wooden tables and have stacks of registers that go back many years. It feels like a real part of the community here. The staff mostly comes from nearby towns, so there’s a lot of informal chatting along with the official work. It’s a very human way to run a government service. We just try to be useful to the people living out here in Chakrajumolla without making any big promises we can't keep. It's just about helping where we can with the resources we have.
