Goswami Enterprises is located over at 5 Halder Lane in the Bowbazar area. If you’ve ever walked around those streets, you know how packed it gets. We’ve been based in this spot for quite some time, and it feels like home now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we handle our daily business transactions and paperwork. Most of the neighbors know us by now because we’ve been around the block a few times. Being in Bowbazar means there is always something going on outside the door, whether it's deliveries or just people passing through the narrow lanes. We keep the place open during regular hours, though sometimes we stay late if there's a lot of inventory to sort through. It’s a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s a practical space. Sometimes the electricity acts up in the old building, but we just deal with it and keep working. We handle a variety of items and supplies depending on what’s needed for our current orders. It's just a regular local business trying to stay on top of things. You can usually find one of us sitting at the main desk near the front. We like the grit and the energy of this neighborhood, even if the traffic is a nightmare sometimes. We aren't going anywhere.
