Goel Airshrink (India) Ltd.

We are located up on the 6th floor at 11 Pollock Street. It’s one of those older buildings where the elevator works most of the time, but sometimes you just take the stairs if you’re in a hurry. Goel Airshrink has been operating from here for a good while. The view from the sixth floor isn’t much, just other rooftops and the busy street below. Kolkata is always noisy, and Pollock Street is no exception. We do our work in the office and the small space we have for our airshrink business. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating with the workers and the buyers. Sometimes the fans overhead make a clicking sound that we’ve just stopped noticing. We have a lot of files piled up on the side tables. It’s not the most modern look, but it works for us. Our team is small, and we mostly just focus on getting things done. Lunchtime usually means someone goes down to get tea and snacks for everyone. We know the security guard at the front door pretty well. He’s been there as long as we have. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough, but we have some old AC units that struggle along. It’s a plain, honest place to work. We don’t go in for big displays or marketing talk. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the shipments are moving. It's a steady routine that keeps the business going every day.
