We operate out of C-4 in Gillander House, right on N.S. Road. This building has been around for ages, and you can feel it in the hallways. It’s one of those classic spots in the city where business has been done for generations. Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co. Ltd. takes up our bit of the space, and we've got desks piled with papers and old ledgers. N.S. Road is always packed with cars and people rushing around, but inside here, it feels a bit more steady. We do a lot of different things, from tea to textiles, but it all happens from these rooms. The ceilings are high and the windows let in a bit of that city dust. It’s not a shiny new glass office, but it feels like home to us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, yet we’re still here doing the same kind of work. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, handle the correspondence, and keep the business moving. Sometimes the humidity gets to us, or the traffic makes us late, but that’s just life on N.S. Road. We have a lot of history tied to this specific address. It’s a solid place to be. We don't have a fancy reception or anything, just people working hard at their desks. That’s the reality of it. It’s just us, doing our thing in a very old building.
