Genpact India

Our Genpact India office is situated at 50C Diamond Harbour Road, right near the Calcutta Hospital. If you have ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know the traffic near the hospital can be quite something. We are in a busy building that sees a lot of people coming and going all day long. The office itself is focused on processing work and keeping track of various records for the company. It is a bit of an older space, with some marks on the walls and floors that show how much work has happened here over the years. We have a lot of computers lined up and the sound of typing is pretty much the background music of our lives. Because we are near the hospital, there are always ambulances and people around, so it never feels lonely. We have a small pantry where we keep our tea leaves and sugar. The windows don't offer much of a view, mostly just the street and other buildings, but we are usually too busy to look out anyway. We handle the paperwork and the digital files that come our way with a bit of a steady rhythm. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. When the shift ends, we join the crowd on Diamond Harbour Road to find our way home through the city bustle.
