You can find us at 19 Thakurdas Banerjee Road in the Belgharia area of Kolkata. It’s a fairly typical street, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a while now. We deal with financial technology, though we like to keep the technical talk to a minimum when we’re just chatting. The office is a straightforward space where we manage accounts and look at numbers all day. It’s not the kind of place with a lot of bells and whistles. We have our desks, our computers, and a small area where we have our lunch. Belgharia is a busy part of the city, and the sounds of the street are pretty much the soundtrack to our workday. Sometimes it’s a bit loud, but you get used to it. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees; we're a smaller group that knows each other well. We handle the daily tasks of Genesis Fintec without making a big fuss about it. We’ve had some of the same people working here for years, so it feels a bit like a second home. The building itself is sturdy and has seen a lot of history. We’re just here doing our jobs, making sure the financial stuff is handled right. It’s practical work that requires a lot of attention to detail, so we keep our heads down and get on with it. Every day brings something a bit different but the location stays the same.
