Gelsey Acting Academy Private Limited

Gelsey Acting Academy Private Limited is located at 179 Anandapur, over in the Kolkata area near the bypass. We are situated on the 4th floor, specifically in Flat 4A. The building is part of the Lp-433/14 plot. It’s a bit of a climb up to the 4th floor, but it’s good exercise I suppose. The neighborhood of Anandapur has changed a lot lately with new buildings going up everywhere. Our space is basically an apartment that we’ve converted into a place for acting and rehearsals. It has a very lived-in feel to it. There are scripts lying around on the tables and a few chairs tucked into the corners. We don't have a big stage or professional lighting rigs everywhere; it’s more about having a quiet place to practice and learn. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors or the traffic from the main road, but we don't mind. It feels like a real, gritty place to work on your craft. We aren't a big corporate school with a lobby and a fountain. We are just a small group of people who care about acting. Usually, we are here until late in the evening. It’s a simple setup, but it serves us well. We like being in this part of the city because it’s accessible but not right in the middle of the frantic downtown area. It just works for us and the people who come here.
