Belgachia Road is a busy place to be. We are at 64 9A, right in the middle of it all. Gcl has its home here in an old building that has a lot of stories. The walls are thick and the windows are large. We get a lot of noise from the street, but that’s just life in Kolkata. Inside, the office feels a bit like a library sometimes because of all the old paper we have. We don't have sleek modern furniture. Our chairs have been around for years and they’re comfortable in their own way. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one near the door. The hallway is a bit dark, but once you get inside our space, it’s bright enough. We drink a lot of tea and sometimes share a pack of biscuits in the afternoon. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don’t worry about fancy titles or corporate rules. We just work together to get things finished. The neighborhood has a lot of character. There are local markets and small shops everywhere. We like being in a place that feels like a real neighborhood. Sometimes the rains make the street outside a bit of a mess, but we just deal with it. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of place to spend our working hours. Being at 64 9A Belgachia Road means we are always part of the local flow.
