Our base is at 36/1A, Elgin Road. It’s a well-known street in Kolkata, and we like being here. The office itself is quite simple. We didn't spend a lot of money on fancy decorations because that's not really our style. We’re more interested in the actual work of development and construction. Gangapurna Devcon Llp is made up of a handful of us who have spent years in this industry. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the city over time. We just take things one day at a time, looking at new sites and figuring out the best way to move forward with them. It’s practical work. There’s a lot of talking to engineers and making sure the supplies arrive on time. We don’t always get it perfect, but we try our best to be fair and get the job finished. We aren't interested in being the biggest company out there. We just want to do work that we can stand by. Elgin Road is a good place for us because it’s easy to get to other parts of the city from here. Sometimes we meet clients at a local cafe instead of the office just to keep things relaxed. It’s a low-key way of doing business, but it seems to work for us and the people we deal with. We don't have a big corporate ladder, just a team that talks and works together.
