GAJPATI CONSTRUCTIONS LLP

We set up shop at 1425 Laskarhat Road here in Kolkata. It’s a busy street and there is always something happening outside. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a functional space where we manage our construction projects. We spend our hours looking at blueprints and talking to vendors about materials. It’s a lot of coordinating between the office and the actual building sites. We like being in the 700039 area because it feels connected to the rest of the city. There isn't any corporate polish here. We just use old desks and hope the printer works when we need it to. Our team is small, and we’ve all been working together for a good bit of time. We know how to get things done without needing a lot of instructions. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but we just adjust the schedule and keep moving. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just want to finish the work we started and move on to the next one. It’s a practical life. We handle the permits, the labor, and the supplies from this one room. It can get a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how it goes. We’re just a local group trying to make a living in the city. No one here is looking for fame.
