We have been operating out of 19 British Indian Street for quite some time now. Our office is located on the second floor, which keeps us slightly away from the direct noise of the street, though you can still hear the city moving outside. Most of our days are spent handling the various tasks that come with being an export company. There is always a lot of paperwork spread across the desks and the phone seems to ring at the most random times. We do not have a fancy setup with modern art or anything like that. It is just a practical workspace with sturdy desks and enough filing cabinets to hold our records. The stairs to the second floor are a bit steep, so we definitely get our exercise in every morning. Usually, we start the day with a cup of tea and a quick look at the shipping schedules. It is a lot of coordinating with different people to make sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the logistics can be a bit of a headache, especially when there are delays we cannot control. We just take it as it comes and try to keep things moving. The staff here is a small group and we have worked together long enough to know how each other likes to get things done. It is a regular job in a busy part of the city, and we just focus on doing our work steadily.
