G. A. Corporation

If you come looking for G. A. Corporation, you’ll have to head up to the second floor at 45A/H/1, Canal East Road. The stairs can be a bit of a workout, but we like it up here. It’s usually pretty loud because of the traffic on the road below, and the canal has its own smell depending on the day. We spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets or talking to suppliers. It’s a bit cramped with all the files we keep, but we know where everything is. The office has an old fan that clicks, which drives me crazy sometimes, but it keeps the air moving. People usually call before they come because parking on Canal East Road is a nightmare. We’ve been in this building for some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. G. A. Corporation is just a small group of us trying to make a living and keep things moving without making a big fuss about it. We don't have any leather chairs or shiny signs. It's just wooden desks and some old calendars on the wall. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten right at our desks while we talk about the news or the weather. It’s a simple life here, and we prefer it that way instead of being in some glass tower downtown. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come.
