Freelancing

We are based in Kolkata 107, over at C 16 5 in the Manjulika Housing Cooprative. It’s part of E C T P Phase Iv. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed. We use a couple of rooms for our Freelancing workspace. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of cables. We do all sorts of work from here. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a business park. We like being in a neighborhood instead. The neighbors are nice and it’s generally quiet. We’ve been here since we first started out. We didn't see the point in getting a big expensive office when this works perfectly. We handle things as they come. There isn't a boss looking over our shoulders all the time. We just know what needs to get done and we do it. Sometimes we sit out on the balcony when we need a break. Kolkata can get very humid, so we have the fans going all day. We aren't a big name or anything. We just provide some help to people who need it. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and talking to each other about the projects. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We’re happy with the spot we have in Manjulika Housing. It works for our needs and keeps us connected to the local area.
