Freelancing

Freelancing is what I do and I am based out of Repose 29 over on 17 Kendua Main Road. This is in the Garia area of Kolkata which is a pretty decent spot to be. I have lived around here for a long time and decided to set up my workspace right in my own place. It saves me from having to deal with the local trains every morning. My flat is on the 700 084 zip code side of things. It is not a corporate setup with glass walls and uniforms. It is just a room with a comfortable chair and a good light. I spend a lot of my time here just working through different tasks. Sometimes the street noise from Kendua Main Road gets a bit loud but you get used to it after a while. I like the independence of it all. I can start my day whenever I want though I usually end up working late into the night. My family is around and they know when I am busy and shouldn't be bothered. There is no mission statement or big goal other than just doing a good day of work and getting paid. I handle everything myself from the initial talk to the final part of the job. It gets lonely sometimes but the work is interesting enough to keep me going. Kolkata is a busy city but inside my room it is just me and the screen.
