Freelance Trainer

My workspace is at 170 Block B in Lake Town, Kolkata. It is a decent area, though it gets quite crowded around the holidays and during the rains. I have been working as a freelance trainer from this spot for a bit. It is not a huge operation, just a desk and a lot of notes piled up. I spend most of my time either here planning out what I am going to say or out at various locations around the city meeting with groups. Kolkata has its own rhythm, and I have learned to work around the traffic and the weather as best as I can. I do everything myself, from answering emails to carrying my own projector to sessions. There is no team or marketing department behind me. It is just a local person trying to provide some useful information to whoever needs it. Sometimes the neighbors are a bit loud, but that is just living in Block B for you. I like being able to choose my own hours, even if it means I end up working late into the night more often than I would like. I do not have a storefront or a big sign outside. It is just my home where I handle the business side of things. People usually just find me through word of mouth or by looking for trainers in the Lake Town area. It is a simple setup and it works for what I do.
