Up on the 19th floor of building B at 46B Matheswartola Road is where you will find us. It’s a bit of a trek up, but the view of Kolkata from up here is something else. FORTNOX BUILDWELL LLP is the name on our lease. We do a lot of our thinking and planning from this office. It’s a high-rise building, which fits since we spend our days thinking about how to build things properly. The road down below, Matheswartola, is always packed with trucks and cars. Sometimes the elevator takes a while, so we’ve learned to be patient. Inside, it’s mostly just us, a few computers, and a lot of folders full of site reports. We aren't into flashy meetings. Usually, we're just wearing comfortable clothes and trying to figure out why a shipment of steel is running late. It gets pretty busy during the middle of the week. We started this because we liked seeing things get built from the ground up. It’s a messy business, construction, but seeing a finished building makes the long hours worth it. We don't have a big receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, one of us will just look up from our desk. We just try to keep things moving forward one floor at a time.
