We are located at 11 Ho Chi Minh Sarani, right on the ground floor. It’s a well-known street in Kolkata, and having the office on the ground floor makes it easy for people to drop by without having to hunt for elevators. Floria Devcon is a small setup, mostly focused on development and construction work around the city and the surrounding areas. We’ve got a handful of people who have been with us for a while, and we all know how the business works. It’s not always glamorous. A lot of the time, we are just dealing with paperwork, checking site reports, and talking to contractors on the phone. The office is comfortable but definitely a working space. You’ll see stacks of blueprints and some coffee mugs lying around. We don't put on airs here. If a project is running late because of the rain, we say so. If something needs fixing, we go fix it. Kolkata is a tough place to build sometimes because of the space constraints and the old pipes, but we’ve learned to navigate those issues over the years. We stay busy and try to keep things moving forward one day at a time. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, which is making sure buildings get put up the way they should. The central location helps us get to different parts of town relatively quickly, despite the typical midday traffic jams.
