Finance Executive

Down in Salt Lake Sector 1, Kolkata, things feel a little more planned out than the rest of the city. Finance Executive is located at EC 177. It’s a nice enough area to work in. West Bengal has its own way of doing business, and we fit right into that. We spend our days handling various finance tasks. It’s mostly a lot of quiet work, interrupted by the occasional phone call or someone dropping by with a query. The office at EC 177 is where we keep all our records and computers. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. It’s just a place to get things done. Kolkata 700064 is where we spend most of our waking hours. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard for people to visit, so those days are a bit slower. We usually have some sweets with our tea in the afternoon; it’s a local habit we can't seem to break. The team here is small, so we all know what everyone else is working on. We don't have big meetings or long speeches. We just look at what needs to be finished today and we do it. It’s a practical way to run things. If you are in Sector 1, you might have passed by our building without even noticing. We like it that way. It keeps things calm so we can focus on the numbers. We aren't flashy, we just do the work as it comes in.
