FESTOON PROJECT LLP

We have our office at 1, Netaji Subhas Road, on the second floor. It’s an old part of Kolkata, full of history and lots of people rushing around. Being here at 700001 feels like being at the center of the action. Festoon Project LLP is a small outfit. We don’t have a massive staff or a huge suite of offices. It’s just a few rooms where we manage our projects. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or looking over drawings. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather is hot and the traffic is blocked up outside. But we’ve been here long enough that it’s just normal to us. We don’t believe in those long corporate mission statements that nobody actually reads. We just try to be honest with the people we work with. If something is going to take a month, we say it’ll take a month. We don't try to impress anyone with big promises we can't keep. The desks are usually piled with files and there's always a half-empty cup of tea somewhere. It’s a real office for real work. We like the fact that we can walk out the door and be right in the middle of the city’s business hub. It keeps us on our toes and reminds us why we started this in the first place. There's no secret to what we do, just persistence and basic common sense.
