Fawn Infraproperties Llp is right in the middle of the chaos on Ezra Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know exactly what I mean. It’s loud, crowded, and there is always something happening outside. Our office is No 104, on the 1st floor of house number 48. It’s an old building, like most of the ones around here, and it has that specific smell of old paper and city dust. We spend our days dealing with property details and looking over site plans. The 700001 area is really the heart of the business district, so it makes sense for us to be here, even if the traffic is a nightmare most afternoons. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of filing cabinets. We don't really go in for much decoration because we’re usually too busy keeping track of different infrastructure projects. Someone is always on the phone or typing away on a keyboard. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where we get our work done. We see a lot of people coming through the doors, from contractors to local folks just asking about land. We just try to get through the list of tasks every day and make sure everything is where it should be. It’s basic work, but it keeps us busy and the day goes by fast.
