Our office for Farlinery Enterprise Private Limited is on Surya Sen Street. It is a very old part of the city, right between Sealdah and College Street. Being at number 22 means we are right in the middle of all the noise and the crowds of Lalbazaar. It is a lively place to be, that is for sure. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking outside our windows. Inside, it is just a bunch of desks and a lot of paper. We have been around this area for quite some time now. We do not have a big lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We handle various enterprise tasks and it keeps us on our toes. The building is older, so it has high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of dust from the street. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the day. Sometimes we walk over to College Street if we need something specific or just a change of scenery during lunch. It is a practical way to work. We do not worry about looking professional for some board of directors. We just focus on getting the daily tasks finished so we can head home. It is honest work in a very busy part of Kolkata. There is no point in pretending we are something we are not.
