Farisha Exports is tucked away at No. 20 Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road. If you walk past too fast, you might miss the entrance because it’s a bit narrow. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a lot of paper. We have been at this address for a while now, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. There’s a lot more traffic now than there used to be, and finding a place to park is almost impossible some days. Our office isn’t much to look at, just some sturdy tables and chairs and a couple of computers that are getting a bit slow. We spend our days mostly answering emails and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all have to take a break until it comes back on. That's usually when we catch up on gossip or share some snacks someone brought from home. The lighting isn't the brightest, but we've got enough lamps to see what we're doing. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and someone will look up from their desk to say hello. It feels more like a home than an office some days, especially with the old rug on the floor and the tea stains on the desks. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way, trying to stay organized.
