Fangorn Arts Private Limited

I'm over at Santoshpur in Kolkata, specifically the Nandan Kanan area. It’s a quiet spot, really. Fangorn Arts started because we just wanted a space to handle art projects without too much noise from the main city. The office is at B-58/1. It’s not a fancy place, just some desks, lots of paper, and a couple of computers that sometimes run a bit slow when we have too many files open. We’ve been here for a while now. Most mornings start with cleaning off the dust that settles overnight. You know how it is in Kolkata. We spend most of our time looking at designs or figuring out how to make things look right for whoever asks us. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going full blast. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to say hello or ask what we’re up to. We don’t have a big sign or anything like that, just the address on the door. It feels more like a workshop than a "private limited" company most days. We do our work, chat about what to eat for lunch, and try to get things done by evening. It’s a simple setup. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with meetings every five minutes. If something needs doing, we just talk across the room and get it sorted. That's pretty much how we operate here in Po-Santoshpur.
