Family Business

We’ve been here in Chandannagar for quite some time now. Our place is tucked away in Borochampatala. It’s a family thing, just like the name says. We started out small and mostly just do what we do every day. People around Hooghly know where to find us. It’s not fancy or anything. Just a regular spot where we handle things our way. My father used to sit here and now we do. The pin code is 712 136 if you’re looking on a map. Sometimes it gets busy, other times it’s quiet. We don't really have a big staff, just us family members helping out. It’s how we’ve always run things. The street outside can get a bit loud with traffic but inside it’s mostly just work. We keep track of everything manually mostly. It works for us. If you walk down the main lane you’ll eventually see our sign. It's nothing special to look at. We just make sure the work gets done by the end of the day. Some people have been coming to us for years. They know how we operate. We don’t change things much. It's just a steady way to make a living in this part of West Bengal. We’re usually open until the evening unless something comes up. That’s pretty much the story. No big corporate offices, just this one place. We handle things as they come. Sometimes we run out of supplies and have to wait for the next delivery. It's just normal life for us.
