Our office is located at 50, Jawahar Lal Nehru Road, up on the 11th floor. It’s a central part of Kolkata, so there is always something happening right outside. We focus on building shelters and homes for people. Being on the 11th floor is nice, but we spend most of our time down at the actual construction sites. The office is where the planning happens, but the real work is out in the sun and rain. We’ve been doing this for several years now. We don't use a lot of fancy talk about what we do. We just try to build places where people can live comfortably. Sometimes the supply chain breaks down or a project gets delayed because of the monsoon, and we just have to be patient. Our team is a mix of people who have been in construction for a long time. We know that building a house isn't just about the bricks and mortar; it’s about making sure everything is done right. We don't have a polished corporate image because that’s not who we are. We are just workers who happen to run a company. We take our coffee black and our work seriously. If there is a problem at a site, one of us will be there to see it for ourselves instead of just sending an email. That is how we keep things moving.
