Eveready Industries India Ltd has a spot here at 6377 Awho Rajiv Vihar in Manimajra. Chandigarh is a nice, planned city, and our location is pretty easy to find once you’re in the area. This isn’t a huge manufacturing plant or anything; it’s more of an administrative and distribution point for us. We have boxes of batteries and flashlights stacked up in the back, and the front is just a few desks where we handle the orders. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have fancy rugs or art on the walls. Mostly, it’s just calendars and schedules. The staff here has been around for a long time, and we all know the routine. We get the shipments in, we check the manifests, and we make sure everything goes where it needs to go. Manimajra is a busy part of the city, so there’s always noise from the street. We usually have the radio on in the background while we work. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else's name. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a tally, but that’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just work out of this office in Rajiv Vihar and keep things running. It’s a simple building, but it serves us well for what we need to do every day. We’ve got our pens, our ledgers, and plenty of tea to keep us going.
