Essaybee Infra Projects Private Limited is based at 56E Hemant Basu Sarani in Kolkata. This is the old 700001 area, so it’s right in the middle of everything. The building is quite old and has that classic Kolkata feel to it. Our office is a bit of a maze with all the files and folders we’ve collected over the years. We have a few big desks and some heavy metal cabinets for our records. It’s usually pretty loud because of the buses and taxis outside, but we don't really notice it anymore. We spend our days mostly on the phone or working on spreadsheets. There isn't a lot of room for fancy stuff here. We have a small corner where we keep the water jug and some cups. It’s a very functional space. Most of the people working here have been with the company for a long time, so we’re like a small family. We don't have a receptionist; if someone comes by, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls, it’s just a place where we get our work done. We focus on the practical side of things and don't worry much about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s just us, working away at 56E Hemant Basu Sarani, day in and day out.
