Our office is located on the 5th floor of number 77 Elliot Road. Escorts Construction Equipment Ltd is the name you will see on the door, but it is mostly just an office where we handle the paperwork side of the business. Construction gear is obviously quite big, so we do not keep the actual machines here in the middle of the city streets. This is where the phones ring and the delivery schedules get made. Elliot Road is a busy area with lots of traffic, but being up on the 5th floor keeps us away from some of that ground-level noise. We have windows that look out over the nearby rooftops, which is a nice view when things get a bit stressful. It is a place for hard work, not for showing off to visitors. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow some days, so we often end up waiting in the lobby for a while. We have been based at this address for a good number of years and the staff knows the daily routine well. Most of our time is spent talking to contractors or checking on equipment deliveries in other locations. We just keep the business running as best we can from this spot on Elliot Road.
