We’ve been at 3658 Palpakuria Road for a while now. Kazipara is a busy spot, and our workshop is right in the middle of it. Mostly, we deal with leather. There’s always that smell of tanned hides in the air when you walk in. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some tables, sewing machines, and people working. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit around and wait for it to come back. We make different things like jackets and bags, whatever is needed at the time. It gets pretty loud with the machines running all day. My uncle started this place, and now we just keep it going. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat here in India. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum. People come by to check the quality of the stitching. We try to be careful with the cuts so we don't waste any material because leather is expensive. You can find us easily if you know the road. There’s a tea stall nearby where we get our morning snacks. It’s a simple life running a leather business. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to finish the orders on time and make sure the zippers don't get stuck. Sometimes the shipments are late, which is a headache. But that's just how things go when you are running a small shop.
