Ernst Young Private Limited

Our office is located at Flat No 1C in Krishna Tower, which sits at 15 BT Road in Kolkata. If you know this part of the city, you know that BT Road is almost always crowded with traffic and people. It is a very lively area. Krishna Tower is a tall building and we are right there on the first floor. Working for Ernst Young Private Limited from this flat has its own daily rhythm. We hear the honking of the buses and the sounds of the street throughout the day, but we have gotten used to it. The flat is basically just a few rooms where we have set up our workstations. It is not a fancy corporate suite by any means. We have our files, our computers, and our tea mugs. We start the day fairly early before the heat gets too bad. Kolkata can be very humid, so the fans are always spinning in every room. We know the other people who work in the building and the security staff at the gate. It feels like a small community inside the tower. We don't use any marketing language or try to sound bigger than we are. We just show up and do the work that needs to be done. Sometimes we order food from the local shops nearby when we are too busy to go out. It is a functional, honest place to spend our working hours. There is no special lobby or big signs, just us working.
