Being in this neighborhood means we are around a lot of old buildings and new ones popping up too. Our office is just a regular place where we sit down to figure out the construction schedules and talk to the laborers. It is not a shiny corporate office or anything. We have some old maps of the city and a lot of notebooks filled with measurements. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that is the best part of the morning. Construction is a messy business, honestly. There is dust and noise and you are always waiting on a truck that is stuck in traffic somewhere. We spend a lot of time on our phones trying to track down where the cement went or why the bricks are late. That is the reality of being builders here. We do not have a big fancy team, just a few of us who know how to get a wall up and make sure the roof does not leak. We have been at this for a bit now, and we just keep going day by day. It is mostly about showing up and making sure the work gets done, even when it is pouring rain outside.
